New to TriDef and Starcraft 2 not working :-(

Postby Curioface » Tue Sep 29, 2015 7:14 pm

I removed Starcraft 2 from TriDef and added Starcraft 2 with the new path: "C:\Program Files (x86)\StarCraft II\Support\SC2Switcher.exe"

When I start SC2 now, everything works, except 3d. When I quit SC2, then I get an error in german: "Dieses Spiel hat kein Direct3D 9, 10 oder 11 verwendet. Vielleicht ist es nicht kompatibel mitTriDef 3D Ignition."
This basically means, that it thinks, that SC2 is not using DirectX.

DXDIAG says:
DirectX 11
Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center 64-Bit
8170MB RAM avalaible to OS
Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3 Motherboard
Intel i3-2130 CPU
AMD Radeon HD 6900 Series with 2032 MB Dedicated RAM

I'm using an EPSON EH-TW5900 3d Beamer and wanted to play Starcraft 2 (SC2) in 3d. I'm using the Trailversion of TriDef and would buy it, if it would work.

Hope someone can help me :-)

Here is the solution and the next problem:
The Solution for Windows 8 is to separately install an older DirectX-Version!

simply download this one:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... px?id=8109

You Need to unpack and install it. Now that error is gone and you can start the game and it is even working in 3d... Yeahh :-)

Now I got a new Problem.
When I'm Scrolling on the map, it hurts in my eyes. It says something between 50 and 60 fps, so maybe that is enough???
I activated Power3d and it Looks good when I'm not Scrolling through the map. Does someone have an idea?

Solution:
activate Vertical Synchronisation in game.

The Problem is, that hdmi can only 1080p 3d with 24fps.
So if your graphiccard runs with 60fps or more you get a non good expierence.
If it is synchronized to 24fps everything is good.

Hope this three Posts will help others :-)
