UPD 07.03.2012

Taken a little bit more of a look at the DX9 profile, and have possibly fixed a few issues, including the museum display cases, and some other things.

Tested on AMD.

EDIT: This has not had extensive testing, so there may be some issues that I did not see and therefore did not fix.

UPD: 3.02.12 (DX11]
Today Batman - Arkham City released. We need official or beta dx11 profile :!: :ugeek:
With new Tridef 3D 5.1/Ignition 3.4.20 DDD add new profile with support DX11 now in "virtual 3D"mode

UPD.: 9.12.11 new DX9 beta DDD profile
Here is an updated DX9 profile.
It fixes a lot of the lighting issues for both GPUs.
However, based on some of the things mentioned preciously in this thread, there as other things still not behaving properly (spotlight, fishtank, etc).

UPD.: 24.11.2011
Timothy release beta DDD (DX9) profile:
"DX11 beta profile may come in the following days."

Oh, please release it in Directx11, I fail to see the difficulty.

Could not get normal 3D to work at all.

However, if you use the Generic DDD profile, it loads as a DX11 profile. Using Virtual 3D mode, all effects in game can be enabled, and the performance is quite good. Some typical blurring (missing depth information) occurs, but rendering is fairly good overall. I think it is quite playable, until official profile is released. I am using Earmack's suggested AMD patch (11.11a), as well. I also have added Virtual 3D hot key.

Similar to COD:MW3, I am experiencing some video playback issues (video pauses, lost audio) - but 3D gameplay is good.

Virtual 3D it's always good alternative, but I think u (and we all) whanna classic/standart 3D for game ;)
What u mean "lost audio", I never see this in games? Do u have native audio realtek or creative card?

Downloaded?

Yes, but DX11 get as more better performance if we compare against DX9 + better overall graphics and unlocked some options like only on dx11: volumetric smoke/haze/fog, wet surface, tessellation ect. And like example u already have VERY good DX11 profile like Metro 20033 ( I think one of the best 3d profiles)

I have both Creative Labs sound card (primary) and Realtek audio built into my Mac backplane (bypassed when Windows OS runs). However, I believe that my video/audio problem actually arises from another source. My video playback is losing frames (therefore, video pausing and lost audio) because the video stream buffer empties, while apparently higher-priority 3D setup is occuring (it should be background task to video streaming). I cannot change video playback priority within Ignition to eliminate this unusual problem (I have seen this issue during Crysis 2, COD:MW3, and Arkham City). I have a 6-core Xeon CPU, as another potential configuration difference.

I agree that normal 3D, with ALL effects enabled, is ideal, but Virtual 3D provides a reasonable beta profile solution for games like DX11 Crysis 2, and a full effects-enabled alternative (for example, includes shadows) for games like DX11 Space Marine and DX10 Crysis.

Update: Ignition 3.4.2 Beta 1 has resolved my audio problems. Thanks, TriDef!

I see.

Well, I hope tomorrow Timothy or one of another developers add beta official DDD profile for game.
I personally think this is one of the best "super-hero" game for the long time (last one it's Batman - Arkham Asylum), I don't have nvidia gpu, so i can't used physix on my gpu, but game still looks amazing

although you guys requested DX11, I present to you a DX9 beta profile.
Some issues with minor lights and Joker riddle cage lights appear 2D for now.
I am sure there may be some other minor issues.

DX11 beta profile may come in the following days.
