Alternatively, place the appropriate suffix at the end of the filename, before the extension. Files with the following extensions do no not require renaming: .TriDefMovie, .TriDefPhoto, .mpo, .jps.
The following animation shows the “left view” and “right view” of a 3D scene:

The examples refer to an image, but the same convention also applies to videos. For example, if a video named “nail.avi” looks like the image below, then rename the file “nail-ab.avi”.
| Suffix | Example | Filename | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| -ab | ![]() |
nail-ab.jpg | “Above Below”
A single image with the left view placed above the right view. |
| -lr | ![]() |
nail-lr.jpg | “Left Right”
A single image with the left view before the right view. |
| -abq | ![]() |
nail-abq.jpg | “Above Below Squashed”
Above-below as for -ab but with each view scaled to half its original height. |
| -lrq | ![]() |
nail-lrq.jpg | “Left Right Squashed”
Left-right as for -lr but with each view scaled to half its original width. |
If the left and right views are reversed then use -rl, -ba, -rlq or -baq instead.
Other supported suffixes include -oe, -3di, -sd, -2×2 and -ana.
