TriDef Support
Samsung 3-D Ready HDTV Configuration
If you have purchased a supported 3-D
Ready HDTV, this page will assist you in configuring your
3-D setup.
- Please ensure your PC meets our system requirements
- Ensure you have connected your PC's DVI or HDMI output
to the
correct HDMI input. If you are connected to the wrong
input, you may receive a "Not Available" message when you
try to switch into 3-D mode
- Ensure your Desktop resolution is set to the TVs native
resolution (1920x1080, 1360x768, 1280x720 or 1024x768, as
specified in your TVs manual).
-
Please ensure your graphics card scaling options are
disabled and resizing is off.
Please Note: Different cards and driver versions
may have the following the settings in different
locations or named differently. If you don't see the
same options as those provided in the images below,
please refer to the manufacturers documentation
NVIDIA Graphics Cards
- Start -> Control Panel -> NVIDIA Control
Panel
- In the "Display" section, ensure "Change Flat Panel
Scaling" is set to set to either "Use my displays
built-in scaling" or "Do not scale" (Click each image
for large image)
- In the "Video & Television" section, ensure "Do not
resize my desktop" is selected
ATI Graphics Cards
- Start -> All Programs -> Catalyst Control
Center
- In the "DVI" section, ensure "Scaling Options" is
set to set to "0%"
Please Note: Failure to ensure this is completed
is the main cause of configuration issues. Please
ensure you have verified all scaling/resizing options
available in your graphics card settings.
- Please run the TriDef Display Setup (Start ->
All Programs -> DDD -> Utilities -> TriDef Display
Setup). Follow the step by step instructions
- If successful, you should be able to see the TriDef
3-D Experience (Start -> All Programs -> DDD
-> TriDef 3-D Experience) start-up and menu icons in
3-D! If not, please refer to our Troubleshooting section
Do you see the TriDef 3-D Experience icons in 3-D, but your
3-D
DVDs look blurry when playing them using TriDef Media
Player? If so, please ensure you change your DVD Input
Type to 3Di (Left) or 3Di (Right)
