To use the 3-D test image, please download the TriDef Media Player.
If you are using a stereo-based 3-D Display (eg, Dual Projector), you may have the system set up in such a way that each eye is seeing the image intended for the other eye. This is known as reverse 3-D. To confirm that this is the problem, please download this test image and save it on your Desktop.
Double-click the saved file (it should play in TriDef Media Player). If you keep your left eye open (and close your right eye) you should see only the letter "L" and vice-versa. If you see an "R" with only your left eye open, then you are seeing reverse 3-D. If you are using "Dual Projector" mode, then change this to "Dual Projector (Reverse)".
If you are using a different mode then either choose the opposite mode (ie, change "MyMode (A)" to "MyMode (B)" if it exists) or reverse the order of something else in your 3-D system, (eg, change the direction of the switch on a pair of shutterglasses). Then confirm that the test image now shows the correct letter for each eye.
To further assist you in the configuration of your 3-D Display, we have provided a series of test images.
These images have been provided in different resolutions and arrangements. The files are named according to the TriDef naming conventions.
