Creating A TriDef Power Point File From Photoviewer

If you prefer to use TriDef Photo Viewer to adjust 3-D Settings or arrange a sequence of Photos, you can transfer all of these Photos, 3-D Settings and Scaling options directly into a PowerPoint presentation.

Starting with the slide you have selected in PowerPoint, this process replaces the background of each slide in turn. If the presentation runs out of slides, new ones are created to accommodate the incoming Photos.

To export either a single Photo or an entire TriDef Slideshow to PowerPoint:

  1. Open PowerPoint, and then open a presentation or template file. Select the slide where you want to start adding the TriDef background(s).

Note: You cannot add a TriDef Photo directly to a Master slide, but there are ways around this. Refer to the TriDef PowerPoint Plug-in Help for further explanation.

  2. Open a TriDef Photo file in Photo Viewer.

Tip: This also works with 2-D compatible 3-D files and TriDef 3-D Image files

    OR

Open a TriDef Slideshow file in Photo Viewer.

  3. Chose File > Send To PowerPoint

If you want to specify a particular 3-D Display to be used in the TriDef PowerPoint Presentation, select it now, otherwise leave the Display Mode selection as Use Control Panel.

Tip: If left as Use Control Panel, the PowerPoint Presentation will use the Control Panel setting of the machine it is viewed on, but it can save a little time at the other end if you specify the Display here.

Note: This will only have an effect on the Presentation if this is the very first TriDef Photo inserted into it. Refer to the TriDef PowerPoint Plug-in Help for further explanation.

  4. You can adjust the Scaling options, 3-D Scene Depth and 3-D Focal Point here, although this is best done with a 3-D Preview.

Note: If your Slideshow did not use 3-D Settings Modifiers, the 'neutral' middle values are shown here. These neutral values produce the same effect as having no Modifiers.

Note: 3-D Settings are not available for Multi-view TriDef Photos.

  5. Click OK.
