Creating a Slideshow
Start TriDef Photo Viewer
Tip: Start > (All) Programs > DDD > TriDef Photo Viewer > Photo Viewer
Click the New Slideshow button.
Adding Photos to a Slideshow
To add a TriDef Photo (or other 2-D compatible
3-D file types or TriDef 3-D image) to a TriDef Slideshow, do one of the following:
- Click the
button and browse to locate the Photo file, or
- Choose Edit > Insert Photo Above/Below and browse to locate the Photo file, or
- Drag and drop a Photo file from the desktop onto the Slideshow window, or
- Drag and drop a Photo from another Slideshow or Photo window in TriDef Photo Viewer
Tips:
- The same image can appear more than once in a single Slideshow, or be used in more than one Slideshow
- See Missing Files for instructions on how to deal with broken links
Opening a Slideshow
Do one of the following:
- Double-click a TriDefSlideshow file, or
- Drag and drop a TriDefSlideshow file from the desktop onto the TriDef Photo Viewer window, or
- Click the
Open button and browse to locate the TriDefSlideshow file, or
- Choose File > Open and browse to locate the TriDefSlideshow file
Editing a Slideshow
To change the order of the Photos in a Slideshow: Select the Photo in the list
and use the buttons, or drag the Photo to its new position.
To remove a Photo: Select the Photo in the list and click the button, or press Delete.
Saving a Slideshow
When you save a TriDef Slideshow, the TriDef Photo Viewer automatically adds the
extension '.TriDefSlideshow' to the file name.
Do one of the following:
- Click the
button, or
- Choose File > Save, or
- Press Ctrl+S
If you have created a Slideshow from Photos in many different folders, you also have the option to create a copy of the Slideshow and all its Photos in a single folder with File > Export Flattened.
