Adjusting Scale And Crop Options

All Photos are scaled to fill the 3-D Display area. When your Photo is not the same size or aspect ratio as your 3-D Display you have a range of options for scaling and cropping the image. In TriDef Photo Viewer you can set options for the Slideshow, but you can also customize those options for individual Photos.

Slideshow Scaling options

The Scaling options set in Slideshow Properties apply to every Photo in the Slideshow, except those Photos which have the Custom Scaling checkbox selected.

  1. Choose Edit > Slideshow Properties.

Tip: You can also click the 3D Settings Slideshow Properties button.

  2. Click the Scaling tab.

  3. Choose default Scaling options here.

See Slideshow Properties for more information.

  4. Click OK.

Photo Scaling options

Each Photo in the Slideshow uses the Scaling options set in Slideshow Properties, unless the Custom Scaling checkbox is selected in Photo Properties.

Photo Scaling settings can also be set in 3-D Preview mode.

  1. Click to select a Photo in a Slideshow.

Note: You can adjust the Scale and Crop options of a Photo which is not part of a Slideshow, but you must save these settings in a Slideshow to keep them.

  2. Choose Edit > Photo Properties.

Tip: You can also click the 3D Settings Photo Properties button under the 2-D Preview.

  3. Click the Scaling tab.

  4. If the Custom Scaling checkbox is not selected, this Photo will use the Scaling settings from Slideshow Properties.

If the Custom Scaling checkbox is selected, you can set Custom Scaling options for this Photo alone. See Photo Properties for more information.

  5. Click OK.
