Exporting A 3-D Image From Photo Builder

3-D Images exported from TriDef Photo Builder are built for a particular model of 3-D Display, with specific 3-D Scene Depth and 3-D Focal Point settings which cannot be altered. These images can be displayed using any graphics display program with a Full Screen option.

  1. Start Photo Builder.

    Tip: Start > All Programs -> DDD -> TriDef Photo Builder

  2. Select all the files you need to create a TriDef Photo.

    Tip: Source and Depth or multiple views.

  3. Click the Preview 3-D button and adjust the 3-D settings until you get the effect you want . This effect should be nearly identical on any 3-D Display.

  4. Choose File > Export > 3-D Image

  5. Use the Display Mode menu to choose the 3-D Display that you will be displaying this image on. If it will be displayed on the same 3-D Display as the one you are currently using, leave this at 'Use Control Panel'.

  6. Click OK.

  7. Use the Save dialog that appears to choose a name and a location to save the image. You have the choice of saving the image as a BMP or a PNG.
