Building A Multi View Tridef Photo

Multi-view TriDef Photos are created from multiple views of a single scene.

  1. Start TriDef Photo Builder.

    Tip: Start > All Programs > DDD > TriDef Photo Builder > Photo Builder

  2. Select "Multiple Views" within the Photo Type area.

  3. Click Add Button and use the Open dialog that appears to find and select all the views in your set.

    Tip: You can also drag and drop one or more views into this area. If you have named your files according to TriDef Naming Conventions you only need select the first view and the rest will load automatically.

    Tip: Split image which lets you split a composite image (left / right, above / below) etc without having to use the naming conventions. Please Note: Available only when a single image is loaded.

    Tip: You can use the Split Anaglyph Image button to seperates a loaded anaglyph image into a l/r image. Please Note: Available only when a single image is loaded.

  4. You can switch between view all images or currently selected image by using the Switch View Button (Last button on right hand side of screen).

  5. You can reverse the order of the list by using the Reverse Button (third button in the image list).

  6. You can delete an image from the list by using the Remove button (fourth button in the image list).

  7. Click the Photo Info tab, and enter the Photo information.

  8. Click Preview 3-D to view the image in 3-D.

    Scaling options are set using the TriDef Control Panel.

  9. Review the settings for this TriDef Photo, then click OK.

    Choose File > Save (or Ctrl+S).

    Use the Save dialog that appears to name and find a place to save your file. By default, The extension .TriDefPhoto will be added automatically. If you wish to save to open format JPG, BMP or PNG you can save to any supported File type as long as your file is named in accordance with TriDef Naming Conventions. For example, to save a Left-Right file, name the file: myimage-lr.jpg
