Output Settings
Output File | Title/Copyright | Width/Height | Compressor Profile
Output File
Specifies the location and name of your TriDef Movie. This may be any valid Windows Filename. The file extention will be .TriDefMovie.
Title/Copyright
The Title and Copyright fields are used to identify ownership of the images in the TriDef Movie. This information is visible in TriDef Movie Player.
Copyright for new Projects defaults to the most recently entered value.
Width/Height
Specify the Height and Width in pixels of the TriDef Movie. This can be different from the Height and Width of the Video Source. Use the Constrain Proportions checkbox to maintain to the original proportions of the Video Source, by automatically resizing Height.
Note: Use the TriDef Movie Encoder Height and Width controls rather than the Resize option in the custom Compressor Profile window. The Compressor Profile Resize option may cause image distortion.
Compressor Profile
TriDef Compressor Profiles have the file extention: *.TriDefCompressorProfile
Compressor Profiles describe a number of Video Source compression options. Note that Audio is not compressed in TriDef Movies.
These default Compressor Profiles are provided:

Low = 1 pass VBR @ 70 Quality

Medium = 1 pass VBR @ 80 Quality

High = 1 pass VBR @ 95 Quality
Custom Compressor Profiles
Custom Compressor Profiles can be added at any time, and once added are available for all Projects.

Choose Custom... from the Compressor Profile popup menu.

Click New.

Type a unique name for the new Profile, then click OK.

The Compressor Profile window opens. This is outside TriDef Movie Encoder and allows you to specify a range of compression options. When you are finished, click OK.

Note: Use the TriDef Movie Encoder Height and Width controls rather than the Resize option in the custom Compressor Profile window. The Compressor Profile Resize option may cause image distortion.

Click Done.
The new Profile is now available for selection.
Exchanging Compressor Profiles
Custom Compressor Profiles can be exchanged with other users.
To install a Custom Compressor Profile:

Choose Custom... from the Compressor Profile popup menu.

Click Import and locate the *.TriDefCompressorProfile file.
Editing Compressor Profiles
Custom Compressor Profiles can be added and deleted, but can not be edited.
