Playing Multiple Files - Version 5.x

By default, when you play a media file using the TriDef Media Player, it will play only the file you have selected.

However, by changing the At Clip End setting, you can change this behavior.

To change the default behavior (which is set to Exit), simply:

  1. Start the TriDef Media Player - Right click on the media file and select Play with TriDef Media Player
  2. While the media is playing, press the E key, until you see the option you require
  3. This setting will remain in effect until you change it (restarting the application does not reset it)

The At Clip End setting has several values:

  • Loop
  • Loop All
  • Play All
  • Rewind
  • Exit

A description of each setting is provided below:

Loop

The selected media item will loop. A movie will loop back to the beginning. An image will remain on the screen until you exit the TriDef Media Player.

Loop All

All valid media files in the same folder will be displayed and then and loop back to the first media file and play again.

Play All

All valid media files in the same folder will be displayed and then the TriDef Media Player will exit.

Rewind

The Media file will rewind after playing. Movie files will rewind. Images will remain on the until you exit the TriDef Media Player.

Exit

The selected media file will be displayed and then the TriDef Media Player will exit.
