  • TriDef Media Player now supports Anti-aliasing to ensure the highest quality when using hi-res image
  • Added support for DVD playback (replaces TriDef DVD Player)
  • Added a new Auto 3-D mode: UltraSmooth
  • In addition to replicating TriDef DVD Player's support for InterVideo WinDVD decoders, TriDef Media Player also supports the Open Source (MPV/MPA) decoders
  • DVD Bookmarks are supported, including auto-saving the playback position on exit

Other recently introduced features:

  • Added Samsung DLP(R) 3-D HDTV and HYUNDAI IT P240W displays.
  • JPS files are now supported
  • Improved 2D-3D conversion for dark regions, such as closing credits.
  • Added an "Extreme Quality" option. Turning this on will slightly improve the 2-D to 3-D conversion quality, but may have a negative effect on playback performance. Extreme quality is off by default
  • Created the "-2d" file naming convention. This forces an item to be displayed in 2-D
  • Created the "-anaglyph" (or "-ana") file naming convention. This allows a pre-rendered 3-D Anaglyph to be displayed on any supported 3-D Display
  • In addition to the existing "Vivid" 2-D to 3-D conversion mode, a new "Smooth" mode has been created. Use 'Ctrl-3' to switch between "Vivid" and "Smooth" modes. The choice will be persistent across restarts. "Smooth" is now the default mode
  • TriDef POPvert playback has been added
  • Various zoom and pan controls have been added
  • When a movie is paused, arrow keys can now be used to step forward/backward one frame at a time
