Managing cloned displays
The TriDef Control Panel reports as the resolution and refresh rate of the primary display as 'Current'. In addition, the 'Set Resolution' button only affects the primary display.
If you have a cloned setup where the 2-D screen and a 3-D Display are showing the same image, the Current resolution and refresh rate reported by the Control Panel may not accurately reflect the actual settings for the 3-D Display which requires them.
You may become aware of this problem if your 3-D Display goes black, flickers badly, is otherwise distorted or pans around as you move the mouse on the 2-D Display.
To check, and/or update the resolution and refresh rate for a cloned 3-D Display, you will need to use the video card driver software.
This is how you would perform this operation on one type of NVIDIA driver software with a GeForce4 video card. Your setup may vary, so consult your system manuals for advice.
